I came up with the idea of offering Quietus Massage after becoming a hospice volunteer. This is something few, if any, other Massage Therapists offer. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines quietus as: “1. a finishing stroke; anything that effectually ends or settles 2. discharge or release from life.” I believe that my personal “gift” is my calming energy. Death, like birth, can be a beautiful, powerful experience and I would be honored to assist your loved one in relaxing and letting go as they pass on to their soul’s next journey
